Mobile ad spend in Canada 2018-2025, by format

In 2020, search advertising was the mobile advertising format with the highest spending in Canada, at approximately 1.82 billion Canadian dollars in spending. Social media advertising tallied in second, with 558.6 million Canadian dollars in spending. By 2025, spending on search advertising will increase to an estimated 2.97 billion, while that by social media is set to amount to some 657.4 billion Canadian dollars, according to the Digital Market Outlook.
