America’s Best Tax and Best Accounting Firms 2024

In November 2023, Forbes Media and Statista, Inc. will unveil its prestigious ranking of America’s Best Tax and Best Accounting Firms. The list not only honors leading tax and accounting firms but also helps guide companies choose a suitable partner.

The list relies on a wide survey of tax and accounting professionals and their clients. The survey is currently closed and scheduled to launch again in July 2024. You can pre-register here to receive a personal invitation to the survey once it launches. (Note that for transparency reasons we require a business email address.) The latest list can be found here.

Further information on the survey:

Although we do need an email and some contact information to send the invitation, your name is not used in any data analysis or publication.

It is for industry professionals in the United States only. Respondents will include employees of tax consulting and/or accounting firms (such as a Chartered Public Accountants/CPA, Enrolled Agents, and Tax Attorneys), and clients of those providers who work in the finance department of U.S.-based companies. To restrict participation to industry professionals only, we must invite you through a valid company email – not a gmail or outlook address, for example. Please feel free to share this page with fellow professionals so they can register and participate as well.

You will be asked to cite any firm(s) you would recommend to a fellow professional. Any tax and accounting firm of any size with a branch in the U.S. is eligible. Please note that recommendations for one’s own firm or attempts to participate multiple times are detected and not considered in the final analysis. We reserve the right to exclude companies from the top list if we detect serious or repeated infringements of this rule.

Companies must offer business-to-business (B2B) tax and/or accounting services. Companies exclusively serving private customers, or provide only financial or insurance services, are not eligible for the list.

Companies do not register, pay any fee to participate, or pay anything to appear on the list. Survey respondents recommend any firms they choose, and companies with the highest number of recommendations (along with other scoring considerations) will appear on the list at no cost. Note that no company other than Forbes and Statista has any financial or functional involvement in this list.

The list will be published in late November on the Forbes website. Winning companies will be notified by mail shortly before publication.
