According to a survey carried out by Hotukdeals in 2017, generally, women consulted websites and apps more for purchase inspiration. 42 percent of female consumers used Facebook, compared to 32 percent of male respondents. 30 percent of consumers from both genders used websites, newspapers and magazines for product information and inspiration. For male consumers, Pinterest was the least popular website, whereas for females it was Twitter.
