According to a survey carried out by Hotukdeals in 2017, young people aged 16-24 found and picked a retailer to shop at while passing by. Using search engines such as Google was the most popular with consumers aged over 65. UK consumers in the 55-64 aged group visited the retailer's website or app directly to find a retailer. Radio advertisements spots, leaflets and flyers were among the least popular channels for all age-groups.
