Population older than working age share in Russia 2021, by region
The share of those older than working age relative to the rest of the population in Russia was the highest in the Central Federal District of the country, exceeding 26 percent in 2021. The lowest share was recorded in the North Caucasian Federal District, where men aged 61 years and older and women aged 56 years and older represented around 17 percent of total inhabitants.
