As the graph shows, personally identifiable data were the largest type of customers' data being held by companies, with 85 percent of firms affirming to store this information. Additionally, authentication credentials of clients or users were stored by 76 percent of companies, whereas payments details and credit card data were collected by 74 percent of respondents.
