In 2019, the average nominal salary was measured at approximately 47.9 thousand Russian rubles per month, marking an increase by over three thousand Russian rubles compared to the previous year. Since the drastic fall in 1998 due to the currency readjustments, the average salary levels in the country exponentially grew from that year.
