Spain: traffic accidents before and after ADAS 2016

This statistic displays the number of accidents before and after the incorporation of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in the automobile fleet in Spain in 2016, by type of accident. According to a report published in October 2016, a total of approximately 35 thousand accidents were registered on Spanish roads caused by frontal collision. With the incorporation of ADAS, approximately 16 thousand accidents of this type were envisaged, which potentially means a reduction of more than 19 thousand accidents.
