Number of organ transplants performed in the Netherlands 2014-2018
This statistic displays the total number of organ transplants performed in the Netherlands from 2014 to 2018. Overall, the annual number of organ transplants performed in the Netherlands remained relatively stable. In the first half of the five year period considered, the number of transplants in the Netherlands decreased slightly, to just below 1,270 operations in 2016. In the following years, the number of organ transplants performed in the Netherlands increased again gradually, and in 2018 approximately 1,340 organ transplants were performed.
