Consumer intentions to reduce costs in the coming year in 2018
This statistic displays the results of a survey regarding the intention of consumers in the Netherlands to reduce their expenses in the coming year. As of December 2018, a large number of respondents indicated that they intended to cut down on grocery costs, while consumers were less concerned with cutting down on health insurance expenses. Close to 40 percent of people surveyed in 2018 indicated that they intended to reduce the amount of money they spent on groceries, while roughly 15 percent of respondents wanted to save on health insurance.
