According to data, 18.3 percent of purchases of dwellings in the city of Parma (in the region of Emilia-Romagna) were investment-driven. The city with the second highest share of dwellings purchased for investment (17.5 percent) was Trieste, in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
