Deaths from alcohol use disorders Russia 1990-2017

This statistic provides an overview of the alcohol-related mortality rate in Russia, from 1990 to 2017. Death prevalence due to alcohol intake was quite elevated between 1992 and 2005. The highest rate - over 32 alcohol-attributable deaths per 100,000 individuals, was recorded in 1992. Since 2005, alcohol-related deaths lessened year-on-year. In 2017 around 15 people died because of alcohol abuse per every 100,000.
