This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted in November 2017 about the average daily intake of salt among the male population in Japan, sorted by age group. During the surveyed period, male adults in the age group 60 to 69 years showed on average the highest daily salt consumption with around 11.4 grams per day, followed by men aged 70 years and over with about 10.9 grams per day.
