Italy: opinion on cats in public spaces 2019

According to a survey conducted in Italy between May 30 and June 3, 2019, 68 percent of interviewees were in favor of bringing cats in public parks. Cats in hotels are also quite tolerated, 59 percent of the respondents said they were in favor. On the other hand, only 28 percent of Italians were in favor of cats being allowed into restaurants, and only 29 percent of cats being allowed into supermarkets and shops that sell food products.
