This graph presents the proportion of French people who stated consuming less meat or being ready to eat less meat in order to protect the environment in a survey from 2019, by age. It appears that throughout all age groups, more than half of those surveyed declared eating less meat as a contribution to environmental protection. Although, French people aged 65 years or older were the age group the most willing to reduce meat consumption for climate action, while French people aged 18 to 24 years old were 66 percent to declare so.
