HNWI and UHNWI assets by type 2022

The high net worth individuals (HNWI) and ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWI) in North America had the highest value of assets worldwide in 2022. The largest part of North American HNWI and UHNWI's assets were financial assets, such as cash and deposits, bonds, equities, and shares, which reached a value of over 116 trillion U.S. dollars in 2022. North American wealth management clients also had the highest liabilities, more than 21 trillion U.S. dollars.
