Brazil: share of cell phone theft victims 2020, by measures taken
As of June 2020, 57 percent of cell phone theft victims in Brazil said they blocked both their device and the SIM card after it was stolen. In the same survey, about 55 percent of Brazilians surveyed filed a report at the police.
