Italy: distribution of export value of ceramic tiles 2013-2018, by macro-region
In 2013 and 2018, Western European countries accounted for over half of Italian exports of ceramic tiles in terms of value. According to the data provided by Prometeia, the share of ceramic tile exported to NAFTA countries increased from 15 percent in 2013 to 16.8 percent in 2018, based on value. Also, the percentage of Italian exports of ceramic tiles sent to the new EU countries increased from 6.8 percent to 7.9 percent between the two years.
