nuclear power in Europe has increased significantly. At the beginning of the reporting period, generation amounted to 20 terawatt-hours. Over the following four decades this increased to 1,110 TWh. Since 2005, nuclear generation has been gradually decreasing across the continent, and by 2021 had fallen to 882.8 terawatt-hours.
