Share of minors helped by the protection system in Spain 2017 by age
This statistic illustrates the number of children that were under the supervision of the child protection system in Spain as of December 2017, broken down by age of the child. That year, nearly 60 percent of the minors that were taken into protective measures by the state were aged between 15 and 17 years old. During 2017, over 30 thousand kids were admitted into the child protection system in Spain.
