Trust in Russian media for news in Ukraine 2019-2022

In 2022, levels of trust in Russian mass media in Ukraine were relatively low. After a notable increase in trust in social media in 2020, the figure dropped significantly in the following years. Furthermore, trust in Russian television and social media news decreased to less than 10 percent.

* According to the source the general sample size was approximately 3,250 interviews, out of which 300 interviews were in 8 regions: Kyiv region (including Kyiv), Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, Representative part was 1,450 interviews per wave.

*Fieldwork was conducted in waves annually in May and June from 2015 to 2018, June to July in 2019, July to August 2020, July to August 2021, and August to September 2022.
