Minors by nationality in Spanish child protection system 2017
This statistic illustrates the number of children that were under the supervision of the child protection system in Spain as of December 2017, broken down by nationality. That year, the number of foreign minors in foster homes stood at over 7.6 thousand children, of which 1.2 thousand were female and 6.3 thousand were male. During 2017, over 30 thousand kids were admitted into the child protection system in Spain.
