Latin America: passports with most visa free access 2019

Chileans were the Latin American citizens holding the most powerful passports in the region as of July 2019. At that moment in time, a Chilean passport opened the doors to international travel to 174 countries, without the need to apply for a visa before travelling. Argentina ranked second, with a passport giving access to 170 countries, followed by Brazil, whose passport offered free visa access to 169 countries. A Cuban passport, for instance, only allowed such access to 63 countries.
