In 2018, El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, Colombia, had the largest cargo throughput in Latin America and the Caribbean, having handled 741.5 thousand metric tons of cargo. The Benito Juárez International Airport in México City, ranked second with a throughput of 581.7 thousand metric tons of cargo.
