Volaris: operating revenue 2014-2021
The Mexican group Controladora Vuela Compañía de Aviación, commonly known as Volaris, generated over 44 billion Mexican pesos in revenue in 2021, representing a twofold increase compared to 2020. Volaris is a low-cost airline from Mexico City serving domestic as well as international destinations like the United States, El Salvador and Guatemala, among others. The airline was the largest player on the domestic market in Mexico in 2021, with a market share of over 41 percent.
