Organ transplants in Colombia 2010-2021
In 2021, the number of organ transplants, including kidney, heart, lung, liver, pancreas, and small bowel, carried out in Colombia amounted to 956 interventions, up from 809 transplants reported a year earlier. The sudden drop in organ transplants in Colombia between 2019 and 2020 was observed along with the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
