Wearable devices market share in India 2020, by type
In 2020, ear wear such as headphones and earphones accounted for more than 83 percent in the wearables market across India. During the same year, wrist band devices such as watches and fitness trackers contributed to about 9.2 percent of this market. In an emerging economy that is getting connected digitally at a rapid speed, the market was set on a path of growth, aided by rising disposable incomes and urbanization.
