As of 2018, 25 percent of the Belgian respondents indicated to use an adblocker, whereas 26 percent of the Dutch individuals mentioned to use such software for blocking advertisements. Adblocker is a software for removing or filtering online advertising in a web browser or an application. There are various reasons individuals using this extension, from reducing the number of cookies to fewer distractions etc.
