In 2017, Asia had spent the most for the development and adoption of robotics technology. This segment took up 64 percent, followed by the Internet of Things (IoT) segment with 50 percent. These figures reflect the rapid deployment of these technologies in Asian manufacturing companies as well as governments' and business leaders' efforts to react to economic and demographic challenges.
