Gross government debt in emerging economies 2014-2018

In 2018, the gross government debt in China amounted to around 6.48 trillion U.S. dollars, significantly higher than the gross government debt of other major emerging economies at this time. The major emerging economy with the lowest government debt was Russia with 220.8 billion U.S. dollars.
