Infosec tools used by companies Russia

Antivirus software was the most commonly used information security tool in Russian companies, according to a survey from 2021. It was employed by 95 percent of the surveyed companies. Furthermore, eight out of ten companies used Windows administrative tools.

In total, 1,286 respondents from Russia and the CIS took part in the survey. The source specified that the survey was conducted offline in regions of Russia and online in CIS countries during the conference Road Show SearchInform. Surveyed companies operated in the IT, oil, gas, industry, transportation, financial, retail, and healthcare sectors, among others. The number of respondents in Russia exceeded 900.
