New cases of HIV in Brazil 2021, by education level
In 2021, around 3.9 thousand new HIV cases of people with a complete secondary education were notified in Brazil, while almost 1.6 thousand people with completed higher education were also newly diagnosed as HIV-positive. In that year, the Brazilian region with the highest amount of newly notified HIV cases was the Southeast Region.
