As of January 1, 2022 there were around 4.06 million women in the U.S. who had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had survived. Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women in the U.S., however, cancer of the lung and bronchus accounts for the most cancer-related deaths among women.
