As of January 1, 2022 there were almost 2.67 million men in the U.S. aged 70 to 79 years old who had been diagnosed with cancer and had survived. Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer among men in the U.S., however, cancer of the lung and bronchus accounts for the most cancer-related deaths among men.
