Guatemala: informal employment share 2010-2017

In 2017, the percentage of informal employment in Guatemala stood at 80.1 percent of the total employed population. The share of employment informality has slightly increased in comparison to the previous year, when 79.2 percent of workers were considered informally employed. Guatemala has one of the highest levels of employment informality in Latin American and the Caribbean.
