Brexit: share of people wanting to leave EU 1992-2019

Between 1992 and 2019 the share of people who wanted Britain to leave the European Union increased from just 10 percent to 36 percent. While for most of this period less than a fifth of people advised they wanted to leave the EU, after 2008 Euroscepticism increased significantly, peaking in 2016 when 41 percent of people said they wanted Britain to leave the EU.
