Russia: African swine fever outbreaks 2018, by animal and region
In 2018, the highest number of African swine fever virus outbreaks in Russia was observed in the Kaliningrad Oblast, where 22 breakout cases among domestic pigs and 35 among wild boars were recorded over a year. In the Saratov Oblast, the illness spread among domestic animals eight times, and in the Belgorod Oblast, eight wild boars got ASFV-infected.
