In a survey of global travel marketers conducted in November 2018 it was found that 74 percent of respondents from the airline segment were planning to increase spending on digital advertising in 2019. Cruise travel marketers were even more inclined to grow their digital advertising budgets, with 77 percent indicating such plans.
