The number of economic fraud cases in Russia increased from slightly over 100 thousand to nearly 107 thousand between the first half of 2018 and the first half of 2019. Nearly 26 thousand crimes categorized as offenses in the sphere of economic activity were recorded over the first six months of 2019.
