Guatemala: opium poppy eradication 2014-2017

In 2017, 803 hectares of opium poppy were eradicated in Guatemala. A year before, the eradication area had been almost 18 times smaller, as only 45 hectares of this crop were reportedly destroyed in the Central American country.
