Number of hotel, restaurant and cafe franchise branches in the Netherlands 2016-2018
Between 2016 and 2018, the number of hotel, restaurant and cafe (commonly referred to as "horeca" in Dutch) franchise branches in the Netherlands increased year on year. In 2016, there were just under 2,800 hotels, restaurants and cafes belonging to a franchise chain in the country. Two years later, this had grown to over 3,000.
