Consumer preference for communication methods with brands U.S. 2018, by vertical

In a November 2018 survey of conducted among consumers in the United States, 44 percent of respondents chose newsletter subscription to keep in touch with a department stores' news, while t41 percent they preferred to receive direct mail from their favorite department stores. Subscription to text messages was the least popular communication channel chosen for most verticals, except specialty.
