Mexico: share of people with inadequate housing 2014-2018, by gender
The rate of social vulnerability based on poor housing conditions was higher among men than women in Mexico. In 2018, it was estimated that nearly 11.3 percent of the male population in Mexico faced social deprivations because of inadequate housing, while 10.8 percent of the female population was considered vulnerable for the same reason.
