Deaths from PM2.5 particle pollution in Belgium 1990-2019
PM2.5 particulate pollution was responsible for an estimated 3,490 premature deaths in Belgium in 2019. Although the number of deaths has increased in recent years, figures are still considerably less than the 7,000 estimated deaths that occurred in 1990.
