Box office revenue in Nicaragua 2015-2022
In 2022, Nicaragua recorded a box office revenue of 3.6 million U.S. dollars, up 20 percent from three million dollars in the previous year. Despite the annual increase, the 2022 figure amounted to less than 54percent of the 6.7-million-dollar gross seen in 2019, before the pandemic. Also in 2022, Nicaragua had one of the lowest box office revenues in Central America.
