The net profit of Danske Bank A/S fluctuated during the period from 2009 to 2019, but increased significantly after 2014, and was generally at a higher level the later four years of the period. In 2014, the net profit amounted to around 3.9 billion Danish kroner, and in 2015 this amount had increased to around 13.1 billion Danish kroner. The net profit continued to grow until the peak of around 20.9 billion Danish kroner in 2017. Today Danske Bank is the largest bank in Denmark, and in 2019 they made net profits of roughly 15 billion Danish kroner.
