Location distribution of holiday properties in Germany and abroad 2019
This date depicts the results of a survey conducted in 2019 which asked respondents about the kind of environment their holiday property is located in or near, and then divided these answers according to whether the property is in Germany or abroad. Around 29 percent of those who own holiday property abroad said that their property is located close to the beach or ocean. In comparison, just 14 percent of holiday properties within Germany are close in proximity to the beach or ocean.
