Gender distribution in national news media in Sweden 2016-2018

From 2016 to 2018, it was more common for men to be represented in national news in Sweden than it was for women. While less than one in three of the persons being invited to talk about domestic news in 2017 were women, the share increased slightly in 2018, amounting to 34.9 percent.
