Attendance at domestic movies in Colombia 2010-2022
Throughout 2022, movie theaters across Colombia sold approximately 1.34 million tickets to domestic films, up 179 percent from 480 thousand a year earlier. The 2022 figure amounted to 53 percent of the 2.52 million tickets sold in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic. Still, the number of domestic movies released in Colombia increased in 2022.
