Leading reasons for moving within Denmark 2018, by region
Regardless of region in Denmark, issues related to economy was the most prevalent reason for moving in 2018, in particular for the inhabitants in the Capital Region of Denmark (29.5 percent). For this group of respondents, moving to a bigger housing also played a pivotal role. Furthermore, changes in family structures was also an important motive for moving, with 28.3 percent of the respondents from the Region of Southern Denmark mentioning this.
